甫在１９９４年去世的法库斯尼，是雅纳切克的学生，他演奏雅纳切克给人一种彷彿作曲家现身说法的真实感，迄今，他对雅纳切克的詮释仍无人能超越。雅纳切克是将捷克这个国家的音乐特性广世人所知的作曲家，虽然他明显地受到俄国国民乐派与德奥浪漫乐派的影响，但在他这左右夹功的衝击中，仍然找到了自己的道路。雅纳切克最大的成就，在於创立了以捷克语文演出的歌剧，以及作品中完全融入捷克民谣要素的音乐作品。法库斯尼早在ＳＰ与ＬＰ时期，便已零散地录制过许多雅纳切克的钢琴作品。他触键之独到令人浑然不觉键盘的存在，圆滑奏的线条可以说毫无瑕庛，也营造了销魂的氛围。这套为ＤＧ公司录下的名盘，迄今仍是同曲目的第一选择。
